Choose the symptom first
If the whole page fails to open, check another website and then retry the FavMovies homepage. If only one old bookmark fails, use search to find the title again. If the page opens but a control does not respond, refresh once and let the page finish loading before repeating the action.
Search finds nothing
Clear genre, year, language and length filters, then enter the shortest recognisable part of the title. An actor search matches the cast recorded in our catalogue. A release-year filter refers to the film or series debut, not the year you happened to see it. The US and UK Traitors pages are separate, so keep the edition in mind.
My List is empty
Check whether you changed browser, profile, private-browsing mode or website address. Saved titles are stored locally. If you have a backup, paste it into My List and choose Merge backup. Without a saved copy, clearing the browser’s website data can remove the list permanently.
Watch now opens but the film is absent
Check your viewing country and the exact title on the destination. A search can return a remake before the film you meant. If there is no offer for that production, refreshing the FavMovies poster does not create one. Try a different title or return later.
Playback starts and then buffers
Once the viewing service is open, use that service’s player controls. Lower quality briefly, pause a large download on your connection or switch from weak Wi-Fi to a more stable network. For subtitles or sound, see picture, sound and subtitles. FavMovies does not control another service’s servers.
